He worked in around Newlyn until the 1890's writing an article entitled'Newlyn & the Newlyn School' in The Magazine of Art 1890.

He studied with John Singer Sargent, James A. He was responsible for designs in panels of stained glass in Westminster Cathedral & other venues.
