Victorian Hand Painted Ironstone Childs Tea Service Set Antique Blue Gold 11pc

Heartbreakingly cute antique child's tea service, hand-painted with a border of blue squares and red pips and trimmed in gold. Includes teapot with lid, cream pitcher, sugar and lid, plus three cups with saucers; eleven total pieces in total.

China isn't my strongest subject but I would think, given the silhouettes, that it is probably ca. 1890s, maybe even 1880s with those bamboo-like handles; and I suspect it is ironstone. The teapot measures just about 6 high with lid. Unfortunately I didn't think to measure any of the other pieces before wrapping it, but if you must know their size, just ask and I will gladly oblige.

It's just so sweet, and somehow summery, don't you think? Condition is very good, free of chips or cracks.

There is some loss to the gold, and perhaps to the paint here and there, and the paint has darkened in some areas, most obviously on the sugar lid and on the teapot.
