REGENCY EARLY 19TH C CHILD'S WHITEWORK FLORAL EMPIRE GOWN DRESS W DRAWSTRING TOP. DATING TO THE EARLY 19TH CENTURY.

FASHIONED OF A WHITE FINE COTTON WITH DRAWSTRING AT THE TOP NECKLINE AS WELL AS TWO ROWS AT THE HIGH EMPIRE WAIST. SMALL PUFF SLEEVES HAVE AN INSERT OF THIN MUSLIN THAT HAS A SMALL EMBROIDERY TO IT, AS PICTURED, WITH DRAWSTRINGS AT THE END OF EACH SLEEVE. THE BOTTOM IS IN BEAUTIFUL HAND EMBROIDERED WHITE WORK WITH OPEN HOLES HAVING SPIDER WEB STITCHING IN THE CENTER DETAILS AND TINY HAND MADE EYELET WITH SCALLOPS ALL ALONG THE BOTTOM EDGE HEM. FRESHLY HAND LAUNDERED AND IN CRISP, CLEAN CONDITION.

ONE PINHEAD HOLE ON THE CENTER FRONT JUST BENEATH THE DRAWSTRINGS, AN ADDITIONAL PINHEAD HOLE JUST ABOVE THE BOTTOM WHITE WORK AND THE DRAWSTRINGS OF THE NECKLINE AND WAIST NEED TO BE REPLACED AS HALF ARE MISSING, NOTE THE IMAGES.
