Regency Circa 1815 Fluted Barrel Back Leather Wing Armchair & Matching Stool
Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this very rare original hand dyed Regency circa 1815 fluted barrel back armchair and matching footstool. A lovely pair and of the finest quality I have ever seen. The stool came originally with the chair, this type is sloped and was used for people with medical aliments in their legs and feet, the angle is supposed to help recovery so if you have sore feet this is the stool for you! We have cleaned waxed and polished the pair from top to bottom, there will be age related patina marks here and there, but the condition is sublime.
