CIRCA 1860's-1870's TINTYPE GIRL WITH BEAUTIFUL PAPER MACHE HEAD DOLL

Original circa 1860's-1870's or so tintype of a young girl with a paper mache head doll. The doll which has a finely detailed head is very sharp in the photo. It is unusual to find a tintype in which an early doll is shown this clearly.

The doll is wearing a dress with a fancy patterned design. The little girl is also wearing a fancy patterned dress which was made from the same type of material but is of a bit different style. The girl looks like she was a bit startled when the photo was taken. Measures 3 1/4 inches by 2 1/2 inches.

There are a few minor subtle bends. But, there are no significant bends.

The front is excellent with just a few tiny signs of wear. The back is excellent with just minute wear.

This very appealing tintype was originally found in Binghamton, New York. This item is inventory #10470. Is an estimate and the actual cost may differ. International Buyers - Please Note.
