Antique Staffordshire MacDonald protecting wife and child 19th Century

Staffordshire MacDonald of Glencoe Figure. This figure is of a Scotsman protected his wife and child with dog at base. It has been suggested that it represents MacDonalds of Glencoe, MacIan defending his wife and child from the Campbell's however it has not been substantiated. 10 1/2"H X 7" W. Condition: Nice condition, rubs to nose, crazing, paint wear, minor imperfections to be expected with age. I will be listing a large Collection of Staffordshire, many pieces from private collections so please continue watching. I try and represent items as accurately as possible.
