Antique Celluloid Lithograph Cover and Velvet Victorian Photo Album with Photos

Celluloid lithograph photo albums are antique albums made of celluloid, and contain lithograph prints. Celluloid albums were primarily made between 1892 and 1915, and featured many different scenes on the fronts of the albums. The covers of celluloid albums were often made of celluloid and the back could be made of velvet or other fabrics. This antique album measures apx. 11 1/2 x 9" x 2 1/2".

Included in the album are 59 vintage and/or antique photos. The photo album is in used condition. The photos will give you a good general idea of the condition. All of the pages are intact, although there are some minor tears here and there. It appears the pages themselves had gold gilt at one time but much of it has worn off.

There is also an apparent brass closure for the album that does still work.
