Antique 1800s Victorian Children's Wood Chair

Up for sale today is this antique child's wood chair, built approximately mid 1800s. Dark brown stain with high gloss clearcoat.

This chair is very sturdy but does have some cracks on underside of chair. 23" tall x 13.5" wide x 12 front to back. Actual seat area is 11.5" front to back x 11.5" from armrest to armest.

Seat is made of 1 thick wood. There are some typical chips and gouges for its LONG life but it is holding up very well; there is no shimmy of the joints, there is just the tiniest wobble of the legs when set on hard surfaces (slight unevenness of feet). Beautiful antique chair and made to last.
