CONTAINING FULL INFORMATION ON ALL THE MARVELOUS AND COMPLEX MATTERS PERTAINING TO WOMEN INCLUDING CREATIVE SCIENCE; BEARING, NURSING AND REARING CHILDREN; HEREDITARY DESCENT; HINTS ON COURTSHIP AND MARRIAGE; PROMOTING HEALTH AND BEAUTY, VIGOR OF MIND AND BODY, ETC. TOGETHER WITH THE DISEASES PECULIAR TO THE FEMALE SEX THEIR CAUSES, SYMPTOMS AND TREATMENT. Part 1= Love and Marriage - advice to unmarried, newly married, etc.Part 2= the human pelvis and organs of generation : lots of medical - how babies are made, pregnancy, miscarriage, labor, nursing, diseases of women, etc. Part 3 = care & management of children: diet, teething, clothing, disease.
Part 4= female beauty - bathing, skin, hair, etc. Tasteful dress, manners, art of conversing well, etc. Still a good book for today, and a fun look back - babies are still made the same way, but we can all learn to be a little nicer? Photos carefully as they are part of the description. All of my books are VERY OLD and have 100+ years of wear to varying degrees. Very good + to excellent condition....Boards - very secure, back cover is as clean as the front. Spine ends - very good, bit curled / some wear.
Very good / some very light wear. Inner hinges - very good. Pages - very clean - only few small spots.Writing - "presented to" page filled in. Rips /folds - no rips or folds that I saw other than 2 pages with folds and wear bottom edge and a bit up the side [last picture]. Marble on the page edges still pretty bright /if you like this one, I just posted one very similar. PLEASE ADD ME TO YOU "SELLERS YOU FOLLOW" LIST.

It can take up to 14 days to get back East, it's rare, but it does happen. And remember -this book is very old and may have accumulated bad smells along the way [musty basement/ mildew/ smoke] - I have found that dryer sheets in them for a few months makes a world of difference! As far as I can tell -this book SMELLS LIKE FRESH PAPER.
